The Packaging Automation Service and Spare Team are busier than ever recording growth of 12.5% in the last financial year and continuing to break records month on month!
During the last twelve months as with most of #TeamPA, the Service and Spares team have had their fair share of challenges.
Of course, they have had the usual covid issues but on top of that they also managed to move into and stock a new unit. Great news for PA customers to know that given the current supply chain issue, the team are doing everything they can to minimise the impact to customers of any potential downtime waiting for spare parts! We are now confident that we are now working towards carrying a stock of spare component parts to ensure they are ready and available for customers as needed.
We credit their continued success to their can do attitude and pro-active approach and we hear first-hand from our customers what a great job they are doing.
Kevin from Kirsty’s recently commented: “I would like to tell you the guys have been fantastic this week. Very supportive and flexible with getting the line set up and delivery of the training. Chris is an outstanding Engineer, and his product knowledge is outstanding.
You are very lucky to have such an exceptional employee.”
MD Neil Ashton responded: “Thanks for the feedback. Chris and Dan have both been with us since apprentices and the commitment and knowledge they show is the reason we invest in apprenticeships. They are an integral part of our success."
The Service and Spares team certainly put our customers at the heart of everything we do, working hard to help prevent unplanned stoppages and costly downtime and carry a stock of spare component parts to ensure they are ready and available for customers as needed.
James Bridge, Service Manager commented on their challenge to make obsolescence obsolete: With retro fitting an option on the majority of our machines it’s really only the much older machines where component parts may become obsolete, but we proactively contacts customers with these older machines to find a solution for them before it becomes a problem.”
With 3 new engineers who have recently joined the team, we are sure their success will continue and we congratulate the team for their hard work commitment and dedication to putting the customer first!
