Packaging Automation run a successful Apprenticeship Programme combining on the job training and experience with academic study, leading to academic qualifications up to degree level. This programme gives young people the opportunity to embark on a career, gain life experience and transferable skills as well as achieve national accredited qualifications.
The PA Apprentice Journey begins with the application process and in 2020 that was a little different. Unable to conduct face to face interviews and group exercises we adapted the approach making full use of technology.
The candidates participated in individual and group virtual meetings, completed tasks, gave a presentation and enjoyed a quiz, all of which allowed the candidates time to get to know Packaging Automation and gave us the opportunity to find out a bit more about the individual candidates.
This year, in 2021, we hope to recruit more Apprentices to TeamPA.

To apply for an Apprenticeship with PA, candidates must have 5 or more GCSEs at Graded 4-6 (C) or above including Maths, English and Science.
