Packaging Automation now has a brand new 3D printer and it’s already gone into production!
We are so excited about the opportunities this brings for future machine component design. Whilst we are still in the early stages of testing with different materials, we are confident that it will enable us to improve the quality of production with little or no wasted material and the improved speed of manufacture also means that we have more capacity too.
MD, Neil Ashton commented: “We have been trialling this technology for a while but felt the time was right to invest in an industrial 3D printer. The printer now allows us to produce machine components cost effectively and efficiently bringing us inline with other world class manufacturers.”
