November News Round-up



Covid and cold & flu bugs made November a particularly challenging month for #TeamPA but as always, they rose to the challenge, rallied the troops and pulled together as a team because that’s what we do to ensure we continue to put our customers first!

So, here’s what happened this month at Packaging Automation….


evolution S

The much anticipated launch of the new #evolutionS took place in November in the Netherlands thanks to the support of our distributor Het Packhuys and what a success it was. We’d also like to thank our other distributors who came along to the launch, we couldn’t have done it without you all : Crawfords Packaging, Milbor PMC and Versatile Packaging.


We were thrilled with the feedback and comments we received and if you haven’t had chance to see the #evolutionS in action yet – here’s your chance:





Exceptional Employee


Andy Wardell¸ Team Leader of the Fabrication and Welding Workshop was awarded Exceptional Employee for this quarter for his excellent work that has directly resulted in a reduction in manufacturing time and reduced costs too.


Congratulation Andy, great work!


New Starters


We had three new starters join #TeamPA this month:


· Graham Hayward – Fitter

· Neil Orme – Stores Assistant

· Reece Christie – Mechanical Fitter

Promotions


Congratulations to James Noon who moved from a temporary position as a Shop Floor Assistant to a permanent role as a Trainee Panel Wirer.


Training


This month we had First Aid Training, First Aid Refresher Training and Defibrillator Training:

· Aaron Brunet completed his First Aid Training.

· Nick Brindley completed his First Aid Refresher Training.

· Louis Young, Jill Robinson, Ciaran Plummer, Nick Brindley, Nigel Clayton, Aaron

Brunet, Sophie Parlby and Jason Butler completed Defibrillator Training.


Machines


Despite global supply chain issues and freight forwarding challenges due to Covid and Brexit, the Projects Team successfully dispatched machines around the globe

In other news…




Willow the office dog helped on reception this month but didn’t quite make it to the end of the week! Better luck next time Willow.




And it seems that Christmas has just about arrived – the tree is up – let the festivities begin!
