This month we received some wonderful feedback from our customers including one who described Stu Bateson Field Service Engineer #ServiceTeam as being

Exceptional Employee Award
In May we celebrated the Exceptional Employee Award for May 2022 which was given to Charlie Collett, Apprentice, in recognition of his exceptional effort whilst deployed to help with work on the shop floor.
New Starters
We welcomed three new members to the team:
· Andrew Barratt – Purchasing
· Kieron Warburton – Stores
· Lucas Wetzel - Project Engineer
We said goodbye to David Bagshaw who left our Machine Shop for pastures new – best of luck David!
Ian O’Brien moved from Machine Shop to take up a new role as Assembly Team Leader – congratulations Ian!
Apprentice Recruitment
The 2022 Apprentice Recruitment Programme is now open. We are looking for applications for the following disciplines:

Events
After a busy April with exhibitions, May was somewhat quieter on the exhibition front, but we still had plenty going on….
We celebrated Simon Wilson’s 25 years’ service. Simon is our Seal Technologist in our Trial Facility
Our new approach to smaller groups for the mid-year company briefings were well received by #TeamPA giving all a chance to ask questions and to celebrate company success as a team #PAPeople #Businessgrowth
Thank you #PPMA and the Mosslands School for giving us the opportunity to speak to a group of young potential engineers of the future last week as part of the PPMA BEST STEM event. #apprentices #buildthefuture #manufacturingexcellence
We also opened our newly refurbished staff canteen – thank you to the Mayor of Knutsford who officially opened it for us.
Machines
The Projects Team continued to deliver vast numbers of machines to customers in the UK and Europe, as always they didn’t fail to deliver.

In other news…
Aurel Capatina, Mechanical Design Engineer welcomed baby Theo to the world this month. Congratulations Aurel!
The kind hearted team at Packaging Automation were invited to make a donation therough their wages direct to support the Ukraine Disaster Appeal. All donations went straight to the Lymm and District Ukraine Refugee Support Fund and contributions were matched by Packaging Automation resulting in a total donation of £1,190 well done #TeamPA – to find out more click here
