It’s always such a pleasure to finish the year on a high note and announcing the winner of the Packaging Automation Exceptional Employee of the Year for 2022 is just about as good as it gets!
Our quarterly Exceptional Employee Awards received some fantastic nominations this year and the quarterly winners in 2022 were:
Q1 John Stanley
Q3 John Stanley
Every quarter the PA Staff Council selects a winner from the nominations received.
The winners of each quarter are then eligible for the Annual Exceptional Employee Award which is selected by the Directors.
This year John Stanley, Assembly Validating & Inspection Engineer went on to win our Annual Exceptional Employee of the Year Award in recognition of his support, exceptional effort and generally going the ‘extra mile’ to support the team and ensure the quality of machines dispatched are to the highest standard. Additionally, John has been very generous with his time supporting younger and newer team members by sharing his skills and knowledge.
Here is John Stanley receiving his Award from Neil Ashton.
Other nominees were:
Charlie Collett, Apprentice - in recognition of his exceptional effort whilst deployed to help with work on the shop floor. Charlie’s help allowed the assembly team to focus on the build and fully utilize their time. Charlie also liaised with the project engineer to identify areas requiring clarification or customer input.
Libbie Bridle, IT Apprentice in recognition of her exemplary proactivity and exceptional creativity in support of the Marketing Team. With little or no prior experience Libbie has efficiently and professionally created marketing content which has received praise both internally and externally.
PA MD Neil Ashton commented: “Tough competition this year and me and the other Directors are exceptionally proud of you all. Our congratulations to John who is a worthy winner. With two awards already this year it’s clear the impact he is having, great work John!”
Very well done to John and to all our quarterly Award Winners!
