The Exceptional Employee award was recently made to Wayne Fox in the Fabrications team. He worked tirelessly in recent weeks on a large order for a number of Miweigh scales completing the frames for a new customer. There were a number of obstacles he had to overcome with design changes and modifications to the frames during manufacture all of which he approached with a smile. He worked overtime consistently during the manufacturing period and gave up two days of the Easter break to ensure the Fabrication process was completed to a high standard and in time for the Assembly team to help achieve the customer delivery date.
What made Wayne stand out was his determination to succeed and hit deadlines for his colleagues and the customer. In doing all of this Wayne fully demonstrated his commitment, drive and certainly put our values (Teamwork, Excellence, Growth and Accountability) into action. It was the fact that Wayne upheld all of our values that made him stand out from the other great nominees.
This is a quarterly award available to colleagues who are nominated by their line managers or peers. The award winner is selected by our Staff Council with Wayne facing some stiff competition.
As our colleagues continue to rise to new challenges and surprise us with their efforts and determination to succeed, we now look forward for some more fantastic nominations for the next quarter award.
