Today, we say goodbye to Jill Robinson, from our HR Team as she starts her retirement and begins a new chapter of her life in Spain!
Jill initially joined Packaging Automation as a temp in October 2018 on Reception to cover maternity leave. After just a few weeks Jill was offered a 6-month contract as a receptionist.
By May 2019, she had established herself as a great colleague providing administrative support in the business and we didn’t want to lose her. She was offered a permanent role, covering Reception for another 4 months and then taking up an administrative role. Initially, she worked between HR and Accounts providing administrative support to both teams before joining the HR team full-time and where she then remained until this day.
Dorothy Wainscott, HR & H&S Manager commented: “I have been Jill’s line manager since she joined PA and she has been a pleasure to work with. She has turned her hand to many things from organising the off-site event venue and entertainment to the recent canteen refurbishment. She is reliable, enthusiastic, compassionate and a great team-player. Whilst I will miss her good humour, ‘can-do’ attitude and support, I wish her a well-deserved, long, happy and sun-filled retirement in Spain. “
We all wish Jill a long and happy retirement as she begins the next chapter in her life . Jill begins her Spanish adventure in just a few weeks’ time as she heads off in search of a new life in the sun. Buen viaje Jill and we hope to hear all about your adventures…..
