BBC Breakfast filmed live from Packaging Automation

Well, what a great way to start our Wednesday morning!

Imagine our surprise when we received a phone call on Tuesday 6.7.2021 afternoon from the BBC Breakfast Research Team asking if they could film from our factory in Knutsford the following day!

And that wasn’t all, would anyone be available to be interviewed about, and comment on, the impact of Covid restrictions and the so called Freedom Day on 19th July on the business and the UK manufacturing industry.

The answer was of course YES, and we knew the very person – our very own Neil Ashton!

Less than 15 hours later here they are filming the live broadcast by the lovely Nina Warhurst and her crew and what a nice bunch they were.

Nina’s introductory piece saw her on a walking tour of the factory, and we couldn’t be prouder!

As always #TeamPA did us proud and the factory and machines looked fantastic too, well done everyone.

Here’s hoping we get more opportunities to showcase #TeamPA, our Packaging Automation sites, our tray sealer, pot fillers and factory efficient weighing systems again soon.

And to top it all England won and booked their place in the Euro 2020 final , can’t wait for Sunday! #comeonengland #itscominghome
