Award Winning Apprentices on the Packaging Automation Apprenticeship Programme

Committed to the development of young people #buildthefuture, Packaging Automation has run a successful Apprenticeship Programme for many decades now, combining on the job training and experience with academic study, leading to academic qualifications up to degree level. This programme gives young people the opportunity to embark on a career, gain life experience and transferable skills as well as achieve national accredited qualifications.

Each year we run an Apprentice Recruitment Programme and generally offer Apprenticeships in the following areas:

· Mechanical Design Engineering

· Systems Engineering

· Electrical Assembly

· Mechanical Assembly

· Manufacturing

· Fabrication and Welding

The Apprenticeship Programme takes 3-4 years to complete but provides hands on work alongside studies at a local college.

#TeamPA support the Apprentices throughout the programme, helping them develop as part of the team and learn leadership skills to allow them to progress into supervisory roles.

To apply for a Packaging Automation Apprenticeship, candidates must have 5 or more GCSEs at Graded 4-6 (C) or above including Maths, English and Science.
